Why is it worth considering a thermal insulation system?

The overall performance of a system is determined by the performance of its weakest element. This statement also fundamentally applies to the thermal insulation of buildings. When designing insulation, it is not enough to simply select a few materials. The individual components of the insulation system must be chosen so that they work together optimally to achieve the desired goal or to eliminate an existing problem. Different types of buildings and various usage conditions require different system solutions and packages.

The expert in thermal insulation systems

Cemix has many years of experience in the development and creation of façade thermal insulation systems. The Thermosystem façade insulation solutions developed by the company are comprehensive systems that include carefully selected premium materials, additional components, and the technical requirements for their application and installation.

Thermosystem Thermal Insulation System

The core of the Thermosystem system consists of insulation boards fixed to the wall, most commonly made of polystyrene or mineral wool. The material and thickness of these boards determine the thermal insulation properties of the system.

Systems with polystyrene boards provide an excellent balance between price and quality and meet most residential needs, which is why we recommend them for the insulation of private houses and apartment buildings.

Insulation boards

Mineral wool boards have excellent vapor permeability and fire safety of class A, meaning they are non-combustible. They can be installed in layers up to 20 cm thick.

Plinth insulation

The lower parts of buildings are exposed to more severe stresses. Ground moisture, precipitation reflected from the ground (typically from sidewalks or other paved surfaces), as well as mechanical impacts (kicks, ball hits, etc.), place significant strain on all materials used in the insulation system. Cemix has specifically developed the Thermosystem Shield plinth insulation system to meet these requirements.
